About Southwestern Illinois Council of Mayors

The objective of the Southwestern Illinois Council of Mayors is to provide a means by which cities in geographically related counties of southwestern Illinois can cooperate in the public interest in all matters of mutual concern. The Council provides a forum through which member municipalities jointly study and solve mutual problems at all levels of government; exchange viewpoints and experiences in matters of local government; and, when necessary, speak as a body for the purpose of achieving common goals.
